Our partners

Neurophenols project uses the synergy of skills between both industrial and academic partners.

  • Industrial partners:

The SMEs (Small and medium-sized enterprise) Activ'Inside (Libourne, FR) and Nutra Canada (Champlain, CA) will develop active plant ingredients (fruits partly provided by Fruits d'Or, Québec, CA) that will be directly tested and objectified in adapted formulations. These formulations will be developed by Atrium Innovations (Québec City, CA) for products intended for human and by SPF-Diana (Elven, FR), for products intended for pets. These two industrial groups enjoy a leading position in their respective markets.

  • Academic partners:

The mixed research unit (UMR) Nutrineuro (National Institute for Agricultural Research [INRA] and University of Bordeaux) specialized in nutrition and neurobiology, the Institute of Nutrition and Functional Foods (INAF, Laval University, Québec City, CA), the National Institute for Scientific Research (INRS-IAF, Laval, CA) and the National Veterinary School ONIRIS (Nantes, FR), will bring their scientific expertise in human and animal nutrition as well as neurobiology.

  • Transfer cell:

Polyphenols Biotech (Bordeaux, FR; agency attached to the Institute of Sciences of Vine and Wine, ISVV) will ensure to meet the analytical needs of the project. It will also work on the screening of health activities in cellular model.
