Reporting to our European Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and retaining our accounts in Southern Europe (Italy, Spain, Portugal, etc.). In this role, your tasks will focus on two main areas:
Strategy and Business Development:
- Conduct an in-depth analysis of Southern European markets with a view to proposing a detailed, costed action plan to the sales management team.
- Lead negotiations from prospect identification through to the conclusion of new contracts.
- Work actively with our Marketing/Communications teams to create sales materials.
- Evaluate, develop and structure your geographical area:
- Identify our future prospects and ensure the most appropriate sales approach.
- Work closely with our customers to identify their short-, medium- and long-term needs.
- Actively participate in key sales events in your sector (trade shows, webinars, etc.).
Customer loyalty:
- Follow the organisational charts of your accounts and expand the network at the management level and across the various target/prospect/customer departments (R&D, purchasing, marketing, regulatory, etc.).
- Represent the customer entry point and work with our project managers to ensure cohesion between the various Activ’Inside stakeholders involved in the project.
- Handle direct negotiations with accounts (prices, delivery times, terms and conditions, supply contracts, etc.).
- Register as a point of contact for decision-makers and promote our business expertise to reduce price sensitivity.
- Analyse your results and take corrective action if necessary.
Your profil :
Independent and experienced, you know how to conduct long-term commercial negotiations and adapt your arguments as necessary in response to changes in customer needs. Your interpersonal skills and ability to listen enable you to develop lasting relationships with your customers. Results-oriented, your determination and responsiveness clearly contribute to the achievement of your objectives. Finally, as a representative of Activ’Inside, you convey our values and actively contribute to the employer brand.
With a higher education qualification, you have initial successful commercial experience in a B2B environment, ideally in the nutraceuticals sector.
You are fluent in English, Italian and ideally Spanish and French.
You are familiar with the use of Office software and ERP-type software.
Informations:
We offer a remuneration package comprising a fixed salary and a motivating variable component.
The position can be based in France or abroad (Madrid, Barcelona, Milan) and will require regular international travel. If based abroad, you will work remotely after a two-month induction period at our Bordeaux offices.
