MECHANISMS OF ACTION

– D-mannose binds to fimbriae on the surface of Escherichia coli (E. coli) bacteria, preventing them from adhering to urothelial cells that line the inside of the bladder (urothelium). This limits bacterial adhesion and promotes the elimination of bacteria through urine, thereby limiting urinary tract infections.

– Cranberry extract: The PACs contained in cranberries interfere with the fimbriae of bacteria, preventing them from adhering to the bladder wall.

– Burdock extract: The active compounds in burdock inhibit the growth of bacteria such as E. coli. Thanks to its diuretic properties, burdock promotes the elimination of germs and limits their adhesion to the bladder wall. Its anti-inflammatory properties soothe the mucous membrane and promote urinary comfort.
